Leading Chartered Surveyor firm, Bruton Knowles, is delighted to announce it has been recognised on a prestigious list of Gloucestershire’s most profitable businesses.
The chartered surveyor was listed 58th in the inaugural report, put together by accounting firm, Grant Thornton – with the awards handed out to those businesses which achieve the highest profits in the region.
The list is put together using the most recent publicly available accounts of Gloucestershire’s private businesses, as the region continues to see a huge amount of growth.
The award marks a strong period of growth for Bruton Knowles, as the firm continues to impress in a post-pandemic world.
2023 has seen Bruton Knowles open an additional three office spaces across the UK, and Bruton Knowles’ Managing Partner, James Bailey, is happy with the latest success the business has achieved this year: “It is always great to be recognised among our peers in the South West, as it is such an important region for us geographically, with our office spaces in Gloucester, Bristol and Taunton.
“This year has seen plenty of positives for Bruton Knowles, with staff across our various National Teams continuing to be recruited, as well as new business and our growth into Scotland.
“Our thanks go to Grant Thornton for recognising us in their inaugural report, and we hope to see ourselves on this list as we continue to grow for many years to come.”
As the Bruton Knowles team and portfolio has grown in 2023, the future looks bright for the company, with further new offices set to open in early 2024, and a recruitment campaign which shows no sign of slowing down.
Members of the company’s Utilities and Infrastructure team recently came together for a Faculty Day at Worcester Racecourse, with many of the team meeting each other in person for the first time – such has been the rapid growth this year.
Gillian Froud, Head of Utilities and Infrastructure South at Bruton Knowles, said: “We’ve seen so much growth across the business this year, and the new work does not stop coming through the door. As a result, we are ensuring our teams have the best people possible within them, and are fully prepared to provide the excellent Bruton Knowles customer service we are known for to our clients.
“I cannot wait to see where our continued growth takes us, across the next 12 months.”
With its headquarters in Gloucester, Bruton Knowles has big growth plans set in place, as the ambitious chartered surveyor looks to continue to expand in 2024.
