Due to additional project wins across the business, National Chartered Surveyors, Bruton Knowles, is recruiting individuals to join its National Utilities and Infrastructure (U&I) team, with a focus on the East of England.
The property firm currently has 10 offices across the UK, including its Cambridge office, which opened in 2019 to meet growing demand for its services in the region.
Now, as a result of continued growth in clients across the utilities and infrastructure sectors, Bruton Knowles is looking to expand its Eastern based team, with positions for Land Professionals and Graduates / Trainees available.
Ideal candidates for the Land Professional roles include those who have experience in land and property services, to support the delivery of national infrastructure and utilities contracts, including road, rail and utilities.
Responsibilities will include:
- Facilitating delivery of land referencing.
- Negotiating land rights.
- Dealing with compensation claims.
For Graduate and Trainee positions, the property firm is looking for candidates with drive, passion and transferrable skills to assist in a wide variety of tasks supporting the delivery of national infrastructure and utilities contracts, with room for progression.

Bruton Knowles launched its U&I team in September 2020 as part of the agency’s post-lockdown restructure. Providing a nationwide service, the team offer fully comprehensive professional property services across the gas, water, electricity, road and rail industries.
The agency’s recent recruitment drive was further enhanced with the appointment of Adrian Wooley, appointed as its new Talent Acquisition and Internal Recruiter. Since January, Bruton Knowles has already welcomed seven new employees to supports its Valuation, Utilities and Infrastructure, and Commercial teams.
