Robert is a Partner specialising in residential and mixed-use development consultancy, helping public, private and 3rd sector clients to enhance their interests in relation to development and regeneration opportunities. He works closely with landowners and housebuilders across the South West, and further afield, to bring forward development opportunities from pre-planning to newbuild sales. Robert also provides advice in respect of land assembly and equalisation, loan security, overage/uplift entitlement, covenant and access issues and for viability assessments

Robert is actively involved in Bruton Knowles’ growth in the South West, particularly the development consultancy skill, providing advice to landowners from all sectors, house builders, Registered Providers and government authorities.

He is experienced in the disposal and acquisition of immediate and strategic development land, to include open marketing exercises, contingent contracts (option/promotion/’subject to planning’) and site finding projects.

He is regularly retained by companies and institutions to provide comprehensive valuation and strategy advice, with clients becoming familiar with his attention to detail, personable approach, successful results and delivery of a service which exceeds expectations.
